SPACE: Parent-Based Treatment for Childhood and Adolescent Anxiety and OCD

Eli R. Lebowitz

Eli R. Lebowitz, PhD | Professor Lebowitz studies and treats childhood and adolescent anxiety at the Yale Child Study Center. His research focuses on the development, neurobiology, and treatment of anxiety and related disorders, with special emphasis on family dynamics and the role of parents in these problems. Dr. Lebowitz is the lead investigator on multiple funded research projects, and is the author of research papers, books and chapters on childhood and adolescent anxiety. He is also the father of three great boys.

The IPA Program Planning Committee has been monitoring current health recommendations in light of high levels of COVID transmission in Iowa. Based on the current status, as of February 1, 2022, the Committee is requesting that attendees to the SPACE conference on April 4 and April 5 wear a surgical mask or mask with higher level of protection (KN95 or N95) at all times, unless they are actively eating or drinking. Surgical masks will be available at the event, if needed. This request is subject to change as we continue to monitor updated transmission rates and associated health recommendations. Continuing Education

CE will be emailed to attendees who have completed the training evaluation.

About This Workshop

This workshop will review the background, theory and evidence base for SPACE and will provide training on implementing the treatment steps. The workshop will include lecture, simulation, and video excerpts.
Attendees must complete the course in full and attend all sessions in order to receive ANY continuing education credit. No partial credit will be given.
